Gorsuch West


Mrs. Hopper is the Administrator for Gorsuch West Community Learning Center. She is from Ironton, Ohio and has been married to her High School sweetheart since 2004. She has a daughter and son who attend Lancaster High School. Married to a United States Marine, she has enjoyed traveling and living many different places around the country. She moved to Lancaster in 2016 and started with Afterschool Programs of Lancaster at our Tarhe Trails location. She has almost 20 years of birth to grade five child care experience and can not imagine doing anything else.
FHARA HOPPER
Mrs. Hicks is a Student Family Coordinator and Academic Coach for Gorsuch West Community Learning Center. She loves the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, biking, hiking, camping, and fishing. Her happy place is in sunshine and nature. Eric Carle is her favorite author and illustrator and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” is her favorite book. She has a passion for instilling a desire to read in her students. When she was young, Math was her favorite subject. She likes teaching Math concepts, like the basic skills used in everyday life. Seeing the children’s smiles when they feel a sense of accomplishment or have fun building and strengthening new skills is her favorite part of Afterschool.


STEPHANIE HICKS


JUDITH SEIFERT
Ms. Seifert is a Lead Teacher at Gorsuch West Community Learning Center. She is from Lancaster and has Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She holds an Associates of Technical Studies for Event Planning, Fitness & Travel Management, and Business. She enjoys traveling and flower gardening. Her favorite quote is by St. Augustine: “To fall in love with God is the greatest of all romances; to seek Him, the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement.” She is the President, Founder, and Director of Stephy’s House Women’s & Youth Crisis Center, a local volunteer based non-profit resource center empowering victims of abuse to become survivors.
